Lazio, Petkovic: “Abbiamo dato tutto, grazie ai tifosi”

RedazioneUn’ottima Lazio esce immeritatamente dall’Europa League; l’allenatore Vladimir Petkovic esprime tutto il suo rammarico per le penalizzanti decisioni dell’andata del quarto di finale: “I miei ragazzi hanno dato tutto, non posso rimproverargli nulla. La qualificazione non l’abbiamo persa stasera, ma a Istanbul; stasera abbiamo visto una bella Lazio che ha tirato 15 volte in porta. Purtroppo certi tiri devono essere indirizzati un po’ meglio. Ora dobbiamo tirare il fiato e cercare di vincere lunedì sera contro la Juventus”.
La chiusura è per i tifosi, assenti sugli spalti ma presenti fuori dall’Olimpico per incitare i giocatori: “Durante la partita si sentivano più i loro 200 tifosi che non so nemmeno come sono entrati. Dopo il vantaggio con la spinta del nostro pubblico potevamo girare il risultato. Ringrazio i nostri tifosi che oggi ci hanno incoraggiato a Formello e hanno visto la partita fuori l’Olimpico”.
