Il ciclismo trema, Fuentes: “Pronto a collaborare”

RedazioneIl medico spagnolo Eufemiano Fuentes, l’eminenza grigia dello scandalo doping denominato dalla magistrazione spagnola Operacion Puerto, si dice finalmente pronto a fornire collaborazione alla Wada, l’agenzia mondiale dellantidoping. Il pm che sostiene laccusa al processo sullOperacion Puerto ha chiesto a Fuentes una pena di due anni e mezzo di prigione con l’accusa di “attentato alla salute”. Il mondo del ciclismo sta tremando perchè a quanto pare il medico sarebbe disposto a fornire i nomi di coloro a cui appartengono le sacche di sangue che gli sono state sequestrate dagli inquirenti.
Queste le dichiarazioni, al termine di una lunga ed estenuante udienza, di Eufemiano Fuentes: “Se loro pensassero che potrei rendermi utile me lo chiedessero, prenderei in considerazione la proposta e sarei disposto a collaborare. Ciò che non posso sapere con certezza è se potrei dire cose su cui poi lavorare. In cambio non chiederei benefici di alcun tipo, dovrebbe essere una collaborazione reciproca: però se mi chiedessero anche la lista dei mie clienti, io potrei darla“.
