L’UEFA assolve l’arbitro di Manchester-Real; provvedimento corretto

Il cartellino rosso rimediato da Nani, giocatore del Manchester United nella gara di ritorno di Champions League contro il Real Madrid, ricevuta sull’1-0 per i Red Devils e che di fatto ha cambiato il corso della partita e della qualificazione, ha lasciato tanta amarezza e tanta rabbia in Sir Alex Ferguson.
L’UEFA ieri però ha tentato di scrivere la parola fine alle numerose polemiche che sono scaurite; tramite un portavoce interpellato dal “Guardian” ha fatto sapere che “L’espulsione di Nani non rappresenta un problema”.
Il giudizio del massimo organismo continentale è basato sulle direttive e non su una difesa della classe arbitrale, direttive in cui il buon senso non è assolutamente contemplato.
La scelta presa dal direttore di gara non può quindi dirsi errata ma semplicemente si è trattato dell’interpretazione dell’arbitro turco che ha ritenuto l’intervento di Nani scomposto e che potesse arrecare danni all’avversario. La decisione dell’espulsione è assolutamente legittima.
